Last of a legacy I think.. awesome motor! The Tekno Lektron 2200kv, it's basically a 1415 (550) 2200kv but it has the tekno mount built into it saving weight. This motor rips stays nice and cool in my tekno 8ight-e. I run 4s hyperion 5500 packs for the most part.
That castle 1y 2200 (1515) is WAY TOO MUCH motor for a buggy.
If you buy any castle motor for your buggy other than the 1512 1800kv I would get the 1415 (2400kv 550) I mentioned and run it on 3s or 4s geared low. It will be more than enough.
