The tabs that hold the motor in place are the main issue that cause failure in the Hitec servos. Actually, its a weak spot in almost all servos. One company has the solution, but its not either of the two discussed in this thread.
Keep in mind that it is amazing servos last as long as they do. Every time you come up short or over shoot a landing, its like hitting your servo with a hammer.
Take it easy on each other guys, I'm sure neither one of those servo companies is paying your rent. No need to get so worked up.
