Nice! I also came from 1/10 SC and love everything about 1/8. Im running the same motor as you geared 18/46 and it's pretty good. Id like to try a 19, or 20 but I do alot of practice days, and if I run a full 4500mah battery to cut off I come off the track right around 140-145, and switching pinions out isnt a very quick task with the crappy stock motor mount.
