All I got to say is don't buy it if ya don't know how to tune it. And if you think by changing name brands is gonna help overlook anyone's lack of tuning skills then you in for a rude awakening. Get over it. Learn how to tune or ask someone to help you. I run on an 1/8 scale track. Front stretch is 170 feet long and I have no motor or gearing problems. It's called trial and error. Associated nor anyone on this site can promise you a good gear ratio. All tracks very. You have to start somewhere and figure it out.
