Sometimes that just happens. Especially if its the first runs of the Cuda shell in the thinner lexan.
On the matte finishes, You can take the tamiya clear frost and matte out any paintjob. Just do it regular on the inside and then spray the frost on the out. Be sure to mask outside your windows.
