I went back to the 2072 for a race meeting yesterday, and I definitely got better economy than with the 053.
Power was a bit more brutal down low with the 2072, but could have run 10 min tanks on this track easily.
We only ran 5 min heats and I was coming in after 5:20 (plus an extra lap of 40 sec to get to the loop and start - 6 min total run time) with just under half a tank. This motor has 1.5 gal on it now, and still has some nip at the top of the stroke.
Seems to reflect what everyone else in finding - the 2072 is the way to go for the GXII-5RHO at this stage.
