Cause I have two Reedy lipos that I used on my RC8B with a voltage regulator but there isnt enough room in the radiotray on my Serpent to use a voltage regulator.
some have had them last and some have had glitches or burning them up with LiPo ... i know they are perfectly fine with LiFe batteries though.
