whats the stock shimming on the GXII,same as the old engines?
still awaiting delivery of our GXII engines but the prototype one has been running very well until last weeekend where it cut about 6 times in the final..its finally broke in and lost its pinch and the idle dissapeared as you would expect..what i couldnt fathom out is that its gone mega rich on the bottom end and i have had to lean the lsn in by a full turn,i guess its in about 2mm from flush now.
ive put an old GX-R carb on it to test today to see if its the carb..only thing i can think of is that the lsn tip etc has got damaged by an over zealous pitman on needle duty

causing it to not seat properly making it run rich.
