The 13T Hobbywing and other OEM brands are the legal systems for Australian Mini racing. This has made mini a more popular class and very few people use the black can anymore.

For equality you would require a black can that is putting out approx 22 000 to 23 000 RPM.

For the price the complete system is $120 Australian which is cheap. I have had my system in my mini for 2 years and alot of miles raced.

The BL system revitalised mini when racers were getting dis-enchanted with the build quality and varaiation in RPM with the sport tuned motor.
