Not sure what you run for a tx, but Futaba has a setting for normal or digital servos. Running a digital servo on normal can burn it out.
The servo programmer is a handy tool to have. The PC model is only around $20. I use it to open up the dead band on the 7955's I have in my scale rigs. Stops the buzzing of it tring to center ALL the time.
