But yes install is the same because i installed his. Should add as well its not going to be all my driving style either because his still stays cooler even when i drive it.
Maybe your friend has less friction in his drivetrain? You might have a bearing or two that needs replacing or to be cleaned and oiled at least or there might be some other area binding a bit. A little resistance in the drivetrain can definitely raise motor temps.
