Just wanted to summarize feedback from those who have owned both HW and Tekin.

Personally, I quit TC racing when my club started to run $250 escs with laptops. It became to expensive for me.

Hobbywing brought me back into TC racing.

Not a fanboy for Hobbywing. Just a fan of rc products that are high quality and cheap.
