Indoor carpet: Tamiya M grip front and rear. You can also use HPI M on the front and EXpress tyre on the rear.
Outdoors: Ride 3035 front and Cross 36 rear. Use either a spice 5mm medium insert in the front or a ride green or orange insert. For the rear use the Spice 5mm medium insert. The Cross is available in a square edge or round. Either will work. If you use the Sweeps then I would fit the 40 to the front with a green insert and the 25 rear. Note the front sweep tyres will wear fast. Solaris mini tyres hard also work well on the front of the mini, but the same as the sweeps they wear fast.
I have never used the Sweep on carpet so will not comment on how they work. The fastest guy's in mini on carpet usually use the Tamiya M grip with the Tamiya firm black insert. The HPI X patterns will also work on the front.
If you are running the MO5 then I would fit a Tamiya front shock tower and stand the front shocks up for a better handling car.
On a side note.
Ride height, springs and shock oil weight will all influence how well the tyres you select will work. If your car is already working then adjust your ride height for the diameter tyres you choose to run.
Later,
Calvin.
