Default Ve8 Mount install tips

All orders for the Ve8 mounts are shipped. You should be getting shipping confirmations.

The top diff plates got delayed coming back to us from the anodizers holding up the orders.

Some folks have already received their Ve8 mount kits and have questions regarding the prepping of the chassis. Our mounts do not have a slot milled at the bottom so that they can maintain their maximum strength. You need to cut or grind down the small rib in the mount area so that it can sit level with the chassis. This is very important as it will affect how well the mount sits on the chassis.

You can use a dremel tool with a plastic cutter. Take a little off at a time. If you go to hard the tool will grab hard. If you find a better way to do it, please share it with us.

This is probably the only difficult part of the install.

Please do not use the motor cradle #67554. We forgot to mention it in the instructions.
