Simple maintenance like a bearing, rod and a resize is acceptable but if a bearing or rod bushing comes apart or foreign debris goes through an engine and the psr is junk and the bearings and crank are questionable at best, then you shouldn't be sinking money into it to rebuild because most times rebuild cost will be at or more than replacement cost.
