if it doesnt want to run above those temps then that means it is a very efficient engine ,( runtimes? ) is it still pretty fresh? (under a gallon?)

does the engine sound like it is starving for fuel if you lean it out anymore ?

your low speed needle and idle setting is out of whack , usually too lean low speed

around flush and flush are close but more precise counting the needles


there is no magic needle settings but use the referenced needle settings in the threads if you are really struggling , many variables in carb adjustments , pipes , plugs , fuels , different cars have different tank pressures and so on so keep all this in mind
