The interference issue could potentially be a problem. Time will tell. I believe it will be no worse than most of the other layouts on the market. As for balance, if you look closely, you'll see that the batteries are not equally spaced, left to right. They are shifted to the left somewhat to overcome the extra weight the motor has over the electronics. I've got an idea that will allow the batteries to be adjustable left to right to compensate for the varying weights of all the different electronics packages out there.

Crashmaster, I thought about using a tray like Schuie, but there's just not much room with this layout. It would certainly eat into precious electronics mounting room.
