All good advice so far. Yes, even on 1S, properly set up 12ths are amazingly fast! Newbies often have trouble controlling a 10.5, anything wilder is just asking to spend lots of money repairing a destroyed car. They're fast, but fragile. A typical 12th race has an attrition rate of about 1 in 3!
