i recently tried the spec-r double joint shafts for the bd5 in the front of course. performance on track is way better than with the standard shafts but i incurred a problem, maybe you guys can pitch in to help.
the shafts seem to touch the inner side of the c-hubs and on a slight touch or crash the c-hubs break very easily. i already used up 5 c-hubs in the last race meeting
before the double joint shafts i used one c-hub for many months.
any ideas what could be the problem or any of you guys found a solution??

yes you should remove a bit material of the c-hubs (by knife is fine). plastic c-hubs dont break so easy compared to the graphite ones, so in case there is a track where you break a lot graphite c-hubs, you should switch to plastic.

but i do like carpet racing a lot, consistent track condition and often very challenging.
