We cured the scraping problem on our first protype chassis, we came out about 1.5 inches on both sides of the shaft with a 4mm flat chassis then we tapered it to 2mm on the sides. this cured the dipping and scraping problems. I can't believe no one else has'nt don the same. A good stainless screw also has a deeper off set on the hex, so they are better, they don't strip quite as bad,
Thanks for the info....but can you tell me what chassis are you refering too? Also, the stainless screws that you are talking about....what brand? And both items, where can I get them? Thanks for advance.....
