Hey I have found that heating the batteries up by charging them at a higher rate only gives you a quick boost at the beggining of the run. I ran Chris Tosolini's packs that I charged at 5 amps and I ran awesome from the start to the end. I was also running mod and I never dumped and had great power.
Before the preworlds I used to run trinity but had a problem making run time and I talked to Chris and he lent me 2 packs that were not even his new packs, and "I never dumped".
I will now be running Fukuyama batteries exclusively.
