I was running a Castle 5700KV (3.5T) in my JL up until this week. It handled the setup fine. Diff rebuilds are common (@ least with my kit) with the 5700KV motor (2S max). I dropped an EZRUN 60A with a 6000KV 5.5T victory motor in there this past weekend. Ran it today - on 2S it handles it just fine. On 3S - it caught a bit of a bump, went airborne and it flipped over. It landed on its lid and slid down about 20 feet. My radio showed a max RPM of 20,235. I'm going back to 2S until I find a smoother surface to run the car on.
