Having said that, I would recommend it for buggy over truggy. It is one sweet buggy motor for sure.
If you like the linear power of the 7R, wait until you try the GXII. It's very similar, but a lot closer to the 5R's bottom end punch.

I used to run both a 5 port and a 7 port before I started running MG66 for MM in Truggy, I never found my 7 port lacking in bottom end... in saying that, the 5 port was better suited to certain conditions, my MG66 has the best of both
