Just so I'm clear, You guys are grinding the new U brace flush and adding a .030 washer.
I know the orginal U brace from the original B4 was flush and then they added the extra height.
I haven't measured it but the raised section of the new U brace can't be much more than .030 high.
It states for the average racer to remove the .30 washer under the inner ballstud in conjunction with the C tower. The second part states, Pro level racers have also found grinding down the raised portion (2mm) of the U brace, will give you more traction without sacrificing steering.
