Keeping in mind, of course, that NONE of the Zippy LiPos (nor anything else sold by HK) are ROAR-approved. If your individual track does not require LiPo technology batteries to be ROAR-approved then you'd be fine, but there are a LOT of tracks out there that DO depend upon ROAR for their insurance and, thus, must require the batteries used at their events to be ROAR-approved.

DO NOT ASSUME...ASK YOUR TRACK OWNER/MANAGER BEFORE YOU BUY WHAT MAY BE A NON-COMPLIANT BATTERY!!

ROAR-approval of batteries is also a USVTA requirement. Again, if your track doesn't strictly follow USVTA standards you may be golden. If you plan to race at a USVTA event, though, like their upcoming Nats you can pretty well bet you'll be required to use a ROAR-approved battery AND that the 5000mah limit will be enforced.
