I realised I have this car and I see it has potential ( ? ) , so I might enter a big project . I have the old F14 which came as RTR . I got it with my HP printer a few years ago (
) and it was the Williams F1 ( R. Schumacher ) version . I drove it a few times and was very impressed with the speed ( I wasn't into RC racing back then ) . Then the battery exploded and basically that was it , it stayed in the dust . Now I found this thread , and it would be great if I could make it a serious hobby car . Now it is in a pretty toy state ( if any of you know how the original F14 looks like - yok know what I mean ) , with horrible plastics , Carisma radio , ESC/receiver in one box and a standard servo . However , since I am in 1:10 and 1:18 on road racing I have some ESCs which could do the job , some 5 cell 1:18 batteries possibly ? Any help would be great !
