I do not envy Robk he has a very hard decision to make on tires. Here is the problem as I see it, Southern Cal vs the rest of the country. In sunny southern cal
(just not right now) we can run 11 months out of the year on outdoor asphalt tracks,
we have one indoor carpet track, one indoor asphalt track, and 4 outdoor asphalt track all in about a 100 mile or less radius. The rest of the country is not so lucky 8 months out of the year the rest of you run indoors on carpet tracks. Tires wear differently on asphalt an they do on carpet. One tire that works well for asphalt (solaris tires) might not work well on carpet. Finding a tire that fits our needs and pleases everyone is going to be tough.
