You should set your radio up so that when you push foward on the trigger (brake), it kills the engine.
Lastly... trying to catch the boat while its running is a big No-No as well. This picture, is of someone that tried stopping their gas boat... was wearing boots and the prop still went through..
Please be a bit more safe when running boats.
Thats why its better to always bring super glue in your tool box in case something like this happens....
