I ran with a data logger in practice and found that I never really dipped under 7000 rpm so I set my boost to start at 9000. This gave me a very smooth acceleration out of corners and I knocked .5 of a second off my quickest time. Never saw temps more than 50 degree's. In all a very good job with new software, very impressed.
What motor out of interest?
I've been finding similar for lower wind Stock types (8.5/9.5/10.5 etc), less DRRS (1-2) and a higher boost start (around 8-9000), but with a quicker boost ramp (100-300), seems to keep the punch up out the turns, but also keep the motor cool... Worth a try for sure.
