Hi Wap,
There's no real trick to it - simply look at the cooling head and you'll see through the fins in one direction there is a hole straight through - in the other direction, there isn't. The hole should face front-to-back and not like I had it in my original pic - this is to ensure optimal cooling
Take a look at the next two pics. First one is from behind and you can see through the fins that there is a hole to allow the air to flow through. The second picture is from the side and shows no hole through the fins. That when you know the position is correct
