you're only going to see the 5.8V coming from the ESC.. not the battery voltage from your lipos...now if you connect your 2x2s lipos to your RX.. you will not see a 16.8V on your screen but would see smoke from your RX...

the 16.8V is the input voltage to your ESC... your ESC limits the voltage output going to your RX to 6V(in your case, 5.8V)...this is what your RX is measuring and is displaying...spektrum RX has an input voltage range from 3.8V to 9V...
