Which way is your switch facing? If you have the switch oriented such that on is towards the front, it usually solves this problem.
Switch on is towards the front.

Is this only happening after landing a jump? or even if your running on a steady pace? Most cases Ive seen and experienced is either your on/off switch or a sensor wire going bad or not properly connected. In my case my situation was the same as yours on a couple of occasions.
Happens only on landing. I would lose throttle and steering, then I'd run over and find the switch is turned off.
