The mount has a place for what looks like I could use a captured ball end on one end of the shock instead of a ball cup. I was thinking that might make it easier to get the batts in and out, just remove the screw instead of popping an end off. Anyone done this?paragon antenna
I use the stock mount and then use a cut off paragon hollow with a old antenna mount on top of the stock one. i never have to replace the stock mount when I brake the antenna off I just grab another mounted antenna and screw up through the stock mount. I'll post pictures later still at work right now.
