Ray, tape tension was exactly why I don't like trying to fish under the brace for the second wrap. I do go under for the first one, but for the tape I use I like to have 2 layers. I never had any problems on the Lw doing it this way, so I bet it will work on this car too.
Yeah-taping sucks!! I would guess you will have to pre-insert tape on the back and let it dangle under the car-put batteries-pull batteries forward a hair-then push it back into the tape.
