How much more do you need to know?

If you just HAVE to have a longer answer, here goes:

No, that will not be a problem. Everyone runs with their electronics close together because; as you yourself said, there is no room to do anything else. This is the case on almost all cars smaller than 1/5th scale. Even though 1/8th and 1/10th cars, etc. are much bigger, performance dictates that the car be made as compact as possible for a low polar moment of inertia. Therefore, even the larger cars have limited space for radio gear and things tend to get piled up on top of each other. It is not a problem, they all run just fine this way. If it was a problem, nearly every car on the market would have to be redesigned as very few of them would work.
