I started with the mock up last night and found that it is in fact possible. Even without modification with exception of 2 additional hole on the chassis, it worked. But, i noticed that the shocks weren't working it's full potential because of the angle. I am in the process now of designing a rear shock tower that will provide the same , if not better angle for the shocks.

This is how I did it. I reversed the gear box position while keeping everything attached to it on it's original position. But you should have a longer shock mounts to accomodate the distance from the shock tower. So instead of having an unstable mounts that might bend during big jumps, I am designing and fabricating an aluminum shock tower Hope to download of some photos tonight
