I'm working on going into the RC business myself. And my main focus is a track. Because you really need the track along with the hobby shop. I want to rent vehicles too, but they will be slashes. And I want to promote Stock SCT racing because it's affordable, easy to use, and will attract new people.

Why are you building a track, if you say that everyone at the track buys their parts online? There's no sense in spending the time and effort if you are implying that a track yields no parts sales. After all, if you are catering to the newbies and bashers, they probably don't have much interest in a track versus a playground or parking lot. If that's the case, you really don't "need the track along with the hobby shop".
