LOL! They're coming as fast as possible, I promise! But never fast enough The factory is literally working full force on the Vtrax esc's. Figuring out the gluing process (for the waterproof and extreme durability) has added some time to the esc production.

Yes that is true. You can always run any servo at a voltage lower than it's rated voltage, and sometimes slightly higher. A HV 7.4v servo will function great at 7v, but should also have the ability to handle 8.4v for a freshly charged 2s rx pack. We commonly run 6.6v LiFe rx packs on servos only rated to 6v. Obviously this is going to work against you from a warranty standpoint. Viper R/C does not recommend operating a servo at higher than it's rated voltage range due to loss of warranty and possibly damaging your equipment.
