good question
Like the last reader - I've tried a few cars, and they go as follows:
1. Losi xxx-s (I was just learning)
2. Yokomo SD (tub chassis)
3. Yokomo SD LCG - hard to drive (didn't understand set up)
4. Xray T1 FK05 (brilliant - only had for a bit)
5. Cyclone - brilliant car - probably the best relative to time that I have had
6. Schumacher MI4LP - hated it - though I think I didn't have the skills to drive it
7. Xray 008 (put a smile back on my face after the MI4LP)
8. Photon - (hard to call - lovely to drive - but build quality wasn't that good - a bit soft the metals)
9. Xray t3'11 - first xray I have bought new - why did I never do before, I don't know - absolutely brilliant - now making club a finals, whereas used to only make b finals at best
So like the man above - XRAY is a superb bet. Though I do love cyclones - always well developed - ready to race - good parts - not continually changed.
trackside I here the tamiya is rather good too.
