Anyone have problems starting a gallon old ws7? I just got a used one and the pinch is so tight at tdc that I have trouble getting it "unstuck" with a pair of padded vice grips on the flywheel. I have it preheated and I backed the plug out a little and it still locks at tdc and burns up my starter box wheel. Any input would be appreciated.
You may also try to add a 1mm or 2mm head shim under the head button, that wil releive some of the pinch/compression, to make it easier to turn over the engine, after you have put more fuel through the engine, it will.get easier to turn over, you can remove the shim you.installed.
