Just make sure you check mesh all the way around the spur gear. I haven't had an issue with the RC8Be, but on my kiddo's MERV, if you set the mesh on one section of the spur, it can get tight in another area. The spurs are not totally round. I've just learned to check mesh for one full rotation of the spur.
+1. i always rotate the spur all the way around checking the tolerance 4 or 5 times.
