I use Bob Dively's liquid mask shot through an HLVP touch up gun using a 1.5MM needle/nozzle. I do not thin the liquid mask. I can get away with (2) heavy coats and it's perfect. I love how smooth it turns out as opposed to brushing. Using a heat gun, I can have (2) coats ready to cut in 90 min. Here are a couple links...
