This will give you the inductance of the coils, you'll have to pop the pinion end off of the motor to get at the ring on that end of the motor to connect to.
You'll have to use personal judgment on what a "good" coil will be.
You'll have to read between:
A - to the common ring
B - to the common ring
C - to the common ring
If you try to read A-B,B-C,C-A you'll get an average & a slightly skewed look at the coils... you'll just have to play with it.
This won't test the insulation quality.
