It probably doesn't make much of a difference on an off road car like these, but having 50/50 cross weights helps ensure that the car turns left equally as well as it turns right. You probably don't want 50/50 weight distribution front/rear, but 50/50 left/right would be nice, but not essential, I wouldn't think.
I suppose in theory you may be right but this car has such a tight turning radius and corners so well that i still say its unnecessary. Have you ever felt like it turns worse one way over the other due to being unbalanced?
