I somewhat understand what you are telling me here. Like i said i'm new to all this so it's all a learning experiance to me. I have done some reading on the BEC and thought it was a good idea. I guess the crawler guys like them to make sure they maintain full power to their steering servos. I was thinking also about upgrading to maybe a Hitec high torque servo. I just wasn't sure if my reciever could handle it and if i did that would i need a BEC. I'm lost when it comes to all this.
