Hey hey, don't bash it till you try it. I have to say; with the way the motor sits up off the chasis, the ease of swapping out motors or adjusting gear meshing, and yes, swapping out motors (with the purchase of another motor plate) this thing is
a. Worth the peace of mind (perhaps you're lucky or don't run your car hard enough for your motor to break loose out of the stock mount)
b. Worth the ease of meshing and swap out
c. Is just built like a rock and light weight.
Waste of $72 bucks? Maybe to some... definitely not me and probably most others who own this mount.

With the Grid mount too if I had 2 motors, I would buy another motor plate so I didn't have to swap them back and forth. Then it's like a 60 second motor change.
Good point. I'll probably get another mount when I'm ready to buy a bashing motor.
