Agree, probably not, maybe just an occasional fun run. Parts aren’t readily available, you would need to do some scrounging, probably buy more parts trucks. And the short arms with huge offset rims aren’t the most stable, the next generation of trucks (Losi LXT, the first AE RC10T etc.) are far better performing.

If you do run it, make darn sure the diff is not slipping. The adjustment is under the rubber cap on the left side of the tranny, a 5/64 allen wrench if I remember correctly. No slipper clutch to protect it, pretty easy to melt the diff gear if it slips. And consider putting bearings in the wheels if it still has bushings, decent bearings are cheap these days.

It is a historically interesting truck for a couple reasons. From the very early days of the Stadium Truck class, the JRXT it’s based on created the class, essentially replacing the Monster Truck class of Blackfoots, Monster Beetles, Lunch boxes, etc. And the precursor of the molded chassis design that became very common in all 2wd offroad classes (the JRXT is a woven graphite chassis).
