OK question for all RS12 and MT12 owners. My local track has a straight about 40-50m (120-150 feet) long and a windy but not technical infield. I am racing a V1R with a centax clutch and 16/21 gears and a RS12 plus a good top end pipe against a field of a lot of MT12s. No matter what I do to the engine the MT12 boys reel me in on the midrange and i only get a couple of feet of better top end before I have to brake. All I can assume is the MT12 would be a better engine choice for a small track like this. Anybody have any comments?? I assume the RS12 needs to "wind up" to the top end more than the MT12.........
