As far as electronics recommendations I've never used anything but Tekin in both my 1/10 scale and 1/8 scale stuff and its the best of the best but again, not cheap. For a servo you'll want something with at least 200 oz of torque or you'll most likely be buying a servo a 2nd time which will cost you more in the long run.
If you find what youre looking for you're gonna have a blast!! Ive been racing for a while and nothing is as fun for me as 1/8 scale electric!!
Hey thanks I guess wasn't really asking what one is the #1 best because I know how annoying that is when people ask that. thank you though very much for your input.
