In either case; I did have to bore out the 2 holes that were resting over the 4mm holes in the motor casing. Why are these holes (out of curiosity) not already wide enough to compliment the 4mm screw in the Grid Plate's initial design?
I think I ran into a similar issue and noticed my tekin end bell on the one motor was rotated differently than the other. You can take the screws out and rotate it accordingly to accomodate what you need.
